Sound Above the Ground

Hey everyone,
Today I am posting a brand new, fresh off the web, remix/mash-up project that I have been working on for the past couple of weeks. The piece is 3 mins long and uses compilation and juxtaposition of A/V elements to comment on the media's perspective of the underground rave scene. enjoy!!!!

Great editing. You found some great footage to cut between and you did it superbly. The rhythm was smooth, and everything flowed.

Nice choice of topic as well.

Nicely done. I wanted to hear the first newsreader more - turn her up. And the Brit footage is oooollld - good but almost 20 years old now. The media's perspective of raves has changed a *lot* in the UK since then. Being that most journalists now are ex-ravers... :)

I thought it was great the way you intercut between the aerial footage and the DJ talking at in the beginning. It just seemed to work for me. Good job. Way better than mine.

I personally enjoyed the newscasters description of "deadly teenage orgies." Like Stephen said, there was a lot of good footage. It's like you had an archive of all this stuff laying around.
